a technology investment company
Ydoit is investing (capital and expertise) in early stage technology companies which have a focus on using the most appropriate technologies available to solve the hardest productivity problems
The typical company profile is:
Craig Apps is an Australian technologist with over 30 years of experience in capital markets and financial services technology. Craig began his career with Star Systems in the early 90's as a graduate programmer. Star Systems later became GBST with Craig progressing through the company onto the executive in 2002 as General Manager - Clearing, Settlement and Custody Solutions and later General Manager - Product and Market Development.
Craig left GBST in 2007 to co-found Agility Applications with his business partner Paul Biggs. Over the next 10 years Agility Applications became a specialist provider of application, data exchange, and technology solutions tailored for the financial sector. Craig and Paul developed Agility from a pure technology consulting firm into a product company with its flagship product, Agility Connect. Agility Connect was a data hub for the financial services industry, streamlining connectivity between stockbrokers, advice licensees, product providers, and technology partners, ultimately supporting over $200 billion in client assets. In 2017, Agility was acquired by ASX-listed financial services company HUB24 Limited. Following the acquisition, Craig joined HUB24, where he founded the HUB24 Innovation Lab and later served as Chief Product & Innovation Officer, driving industry-leading product strategy and technology initiatives.
After 7 wonderful years at HUB24 Craig decided in early 2024 that it was time to embark on new adventures and spent the next 12 months travelling widely with his wife, family and friends. During this time Craig maintained contact with the financial services technology space and from those interactions he decided to start investing into the early stage technology space and ydoit was created.
ydoit is an investment vehicle which will house investments into early stage technology companies. The investments will comprise a combination of capital and expertise to help drive these companies to the next stage of growth.
